Update on Knaresborough’s Market

Knaresborough Town Council (KTC) have submitted a business case to North Yorkshire Council (NYC) to facilitate the next steps towards the proposed transfer of Knaresborough’s Chartered Market.

If NYC accepts the business case, formal discussions between the two councils will continue to ensure the best outcome for Knaresborough.

This is a positive step towards bringing the market under local management.
